Our Ceramic Urns are hand-thrown on the potter's wheel by one of our Trappist Associates and are available in Landscape Blue Glaze or the New Melleray Sandstone Glaze. |

All Models All caskets include a classically upholstered interior, pillow, mattress, and adjustable bed. The premium caskets include an upholstery upgrade of the pillow and veil and the premium caskets' inside lid panel. Two-piece lids, six solid brass handles, and a two-coat clear lacquer finish are also standard features. A keepsake cross on premium models is provided at no cost. Simple models include an optional raised wooden cross. Each Trappist Casket meets or exceeds industry standards for strength and size, and all models will fit into a standard size burial vault. Custom engraving is available at an additional cost enabling families to personalize caskets with a loved one's name and significant dates. Religious symbols or images, prayers, blessings, poems, or quotations can also be engraved. Casket Blessing: Knowing that all caskets purchased with crosses are constructed in the prayerful environment of New Melleray Abbey and personally blessed by one of the monks is often a source of comfort and consolation to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one.
